The Preslav gold treasure is connected with the life and the high cultural achievements in simeon`s capital city-Veliki Preslav.Concealed during the turbulent events of 971,the treasure is a testimony of the treasures enmassed in the capital of the Bulgarians in the 9th-10th centures.Part of the exquisite and marvellous objekts have been imported form Byzantium,others like the diadem ,the two-side necklace with multi-colored enamels,some earring and the apliques are works of a goldsmith`s workshop,which carried out orders of the inhabitants of the royal palace as well as the boyars and dignitaries in Preslav.
